Daily 5-The JK's wanted to have some quiet time to themselves and decided to explore books with a partner around the classroom.
Language-We had another group read a loud with our alphabet booklets, this time we focused on the letter D.  We practiced sounding out short words and each student had to circle and find all the upper/lower case letter D's they could find.
Ms. Anne-The students enjoyed Ms. Anne's group activity outside, using balloons and beach balls.  The JK's had to work together as a team or with a partner to keep the balloon or ball up in the air, without touching the ground.
